Stephan Schmalzl on virtual shareholder meetings
A new Ministerial Draft proposes a Federal Law to regulate virtual meetings of shareholders, replacing the previous legislation. The draft requires articles of association to provide for virtual meetings and offers flexibility in meeting types. The law is set to come into force on July 14, 2023, pending review in Parliament until May 26, 2023.
