sms.law welcomes Dr. Julia Andras as new Litigation Partner
With Dr. Julia Andras, sms.law gains an experienced lawyer specialising in litigation and dispute resolution.
Starting from early 2024, we warmly welcome Dr. Julia Andras to our team. Her expertise lies in the field of litigation and dispute resolution, particularly in areas such as employment law, medical malpractice law, family and inheritance law, damages and general civil law, as well as all aspects of gambling law. Since the mid-2000s, she has been representing national and international clients before all domestic courts and authorities and advises her clients in German, English and Hungarian. Dr. Andras is also a member of numerous internationall associations and advises her clients in German, English, and Hungarian.
She graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Vienna in 2004 with a Master’s degree in law and obtained her doctorate in law in 2016. Julia Andras has been admitted to the Austrian Bar Association since 2011 and is a member of numerous international associations. Before joining sms.law as a partner, Julia Andras was Head of Litigation and Managing Partner of a renowned international law firm in Vienna from 2016 to 2023. She is also well-known for her DERStandard Online blog, where she regularly writes about current and relevant family law topics.
